    • Suggestions for brands of coffee makers and bean grinder???

    Good Morning,Ya’ll,my DH and I are looking to purchase a new coffee maker and grinder for Christmas for our home. We were looking at purchasing a combo in the Cuisinart Grind & Brew model with a stainless thermal carafe. Does anyone own this type model or give us any suggestions on coffee markers with a bean grinder or an outstanding single coffee marker that has a stainless carafe and a separate brand of bean grinder? One of my main issues with the combo model would be clugging up and cleaning. Thanks any suggestions and Merry Christmas Ya’ll!!!!
    PS-We have had Bunn, Mr. Coffee,KitchenAid brand coffee makers:( and our bean grinder is KitchenAid:(

    I got 1 free 12 coffee maker. Brewing and it stinks awful like plastic. I called them and they sent me out a new one. Now, this one smells too. I love their coffee, just not their coffee makers. Any one else have this problem?

    I’ve had walmart coffee makers blahh. We now have a Jura automatic one cup grind and brew (,300) which makes good coffee but its not that hot plus I can’t stand that I have to wait to make my coffee until my daughter wakes up because its so loud when it grinds and brews. So we are getting rid of that and going back to a regular drip maker. Any suggestions on what brews a good cup of coffee thats HOT and looks decent. Price doesn’t matter.

    • How to brew a perfect cup of coffee?

    It seems I have the hardest time brewing that "perfect cup of coffee". It’s either too weak or too strong or just plain blah! I tried several different brands as well as coffee makers. I ALWAYS follow directions to a T but still can’t get that "Aaaahhhhh!" yummy taste.
    I’m looking for advice on brands as well as methods to help ensure that "perfect cup O’Joe".
    All answers appreciated.

    For christmas I plan on getting the parents a coffee maker that doesn’t break down within a year. At home we have really hard water that tends to chew up most modern coffee makers, I need one that can handle that along with having a timer/etc all those good things.

    I’ve always had good coffee makers but this last time I bought the cheapest one and even if I use good ingredients it doesn’t come out so well and after an hour the heater plate burns the coffee bitter. Is there a way to make good coffee and make it last in my cheap coffee maker?
