I like my coffee, so I thought for the heck of it I would show you how I make my coffee. Of course if your into Star Bucks or Expresso, best pass on this video, cuz I don’t tuch that rot gut. PLEASE TAKE NOTE: Since I have been getting sarcastic remarks on this video I have dis-abled all comments. Some seem to think this is a joke and have nothing better to do than make sly remarks.

    The steps I use when I brew coffee. If you don’t have a grinder, you can ask your beanmonger to “grind for a press,” or set the grinder at the supermarket to “press.” You can use standard ground coffee, but you’ll get a little bit more sediment in your cup from it. I’m using kosher salt here, but you can use any kind of salt you want. Also, I’m using an electric kettle, because it makes life 1000x easier. You can boil in the microwave (take precautions to make sure you don’t get explosive boilover, like sticking a wooden chop stick or spoon in with the water) or on the stove (it’ll go faster with the lid on), but boiled water is boiled water. Make sure you start with at least 3 cups, a little extra for evaporation.

These are some of the original poem that were in this show The Cycle It all came to her like this: she remembered when she was a child coloring eggs for Easter, wire spoons dipping into the cup; colors of spring and happiness left to dry on a newspaper. And she would always steal some away to eat before Sunday. And she would hide the pastel shell in the trash, the evidence, and she’d hide the yolk, too. She only liked the white of it. And then she remembers the onion skins, boiling eggs wrapped in layers of skin dyed them beautiful shades of brown, like the amber beads in mother’s jewelry chest, the variations of color, trapped by nature, captured by ourselves. And she remembers as a child listening to the McKinleys, an older pair with stories of Panama, Mexico. They had so many foreign stories to tell: once they gave her an egg for Christmas, a carnival egg, with the inside blown out, filled with confetti, covered in colorful crepe paper.     STEP 1: Water filled to 6 cups line. STEP 2: Place upper chamber on top. STEP 3: Add 5 scoops of coffee beans, freshly ground, put the lid on, and press start. Step 4: Wait a few minutes. Pre-warm your mugs, setup coffee recycle bag, etc… STEP 5: After bubbling stops, remove the lid, pull off the upper chamber & place upside down in coffee recycle bag!
